Buff Allen's career is diverse and impressive. As a jazz drummer, he has played with artists such as Ed Bickert, Moe Koffman, Rob McConnell, Sam Noto, Eugene Amaro, Hagood Hardy, Kathryn Moses, Peter Appleyard, Phil Nimmons, Don Thompson, Hank Jones, Teddy Wilson, Lenny Breau, Johnny Guenieri, Red Norvo, Johnny Hartman, and Maxine Sullivan. He has also recorded a Juno nominee album with Bob Murphy and Joani Taylor, and a Juno award winning album with the Hugh Fraser Quintet. Buff has played at jazz festivals across Canada and Europe. He has also taught at many drum clinics, workshops and colleges in Canada.
